Our main area of interest today concerns the use of enzymes immobilized on polymer matrices for biosensor application. We are particularly interested in the design, fabrication and properties of electrochemical biosensors for environmental (pollutants, herbicides, pesticides) and clinical (urea) analyses.

Areas of interest are also:

· use of different matrices for immobilization of enzymes (such as self assembled monolayers, SAMs).

· wettability and surface properties of wood samples such as native forest species.
