The motion of two atoms gets correlated by the common coupling to the same wave. This implies that a moving
atom can accelerate a distant atom without direct contact. The cavity is symmetrically pumped. The red dots
denote the standing wave light field and the blue dots are the atoms. If you are patient you can see that the dark
blue atom transfers part of its energy to the bright blue one. If you are very patient you will note that the atoms
are cooled. The reason for this is dissipation due to the decay of the light field through the cavity mirrors.
You may modify yourself the experimental settings! The quantities are expected in units of the cavity decay width.
