The development of luminescent ceramic materials has been particularly attractive, mainly due to their wide possibility of applications, such as LEDs, emergency signs, medical biomarkers, radiation detectors, <em>etc<\/em>. The incorporation of these luminescent compounds in glass matrices enables their large-scale application, especially for high energy radiation detectors and safety lighting, once they have great stability and resistance to these conditions. In this context, materials that present the persistent luminescence and scintillation phenomena will be developed in this project, prepared using fast and environmentally friendly methodologies, such as the microwave-assisted solid-state synthesis (MASS) method. These materials will be incorporated into glass matrices, aiming at the development of devices with potential applications for safety lighting and high-resolution radiation detectors.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mp-row-fluid motopress-row mpce-dsbl-margin-left mpce-dsbl-margin-right\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">B.
