Excursions and Adventures


Please, choose one of the following adventure excursions during your online registration. They are included in the Registration Fee and will take place on Wednesday afternoon.

Due to logistical constraints, there will be a limited number of participants per activity.


WHITE WATER RAFTING

Brotas Must! 2 hours of class 3-4 rapids.

Duration: 4 hours

Height Limit: 1,20m


VERTICALIA

The first Tree Challenge Course built in Brazil (Nov 2001). The Brazilian reference. Altogether 34 different suspended activities and zip lines. The difficulty increases progressively. Safety is guaranteed by the “Wagon System”, equipment developed by Alaya with permanent connection to the life line.

Duration: 2 hours

Height limit: more than 1,45m

(You may bring swimming and extra clothes and extra pair of shoes if you want to spend some relaxing time at the river nearby the Verticalia site. An upgrade of this activity with boia-cross can be bought directly at the site).





BÓIA-CROSS

The activity that initiated tourism in Brotas. Traditional and fun. 4 Km down the Jacaré river in with class 1-2 rapids.

Duration: 2 hours

Height limit: 1,20m and basic swimming skills



Horse riding

Very nice tour with waterfall bath in a splendid scenery, with severall river crossings.

At 9am and 2pm. Duration 3 hours

Minimum height: 1,20 meter. Children may not ride with an adult




Areia que canta

Beautiful source of pristine water, a natural pool and fine sand.

Duration 2hours

WHAT TO BRING?

  • Swimming and extra clothes and extra pair of shoes (for water activities)
  • Tennis shoes or trekking boots;
  • Sun cream and mosquitoes repellent;
