Topological Defects in Multi-field Models

In this talk, I will describe a recently proposed method of generating multi-fields models supporting topological defects. The main idea is based on the deformation method (proposed by Bazeia et.al), which allows us the construction of several one-field models via a deformation function. After generating the deformed models, they are non-trivially coupled in such a way that the new multi-field model still supports topological solutions. We will show how the method works in particular for some bosonic field models. Finally, I will discuss some potential generalizations and applications.
