In the 20th century, both experimental and theoretical studies of this technique primarily focused on the frequency domain. In this context, the properties of the standard model are well understood. However, recent advances in femto- and attosecond techniques have shifted the focus toward the time domain. This presentation will describe an essentially exact computation of the time-dependent photoemission current for the standard model. The results reveal unexpectedly rich physics. ![]() ![]() |
