The communities of condensed matter theory and statistical physics of integrable systems and non-equilibrium models have as a common purpose the mathematical description of complex phenomena in strongly interacting systems. Often, these communities focus on distinct aspects of these systems and develop relatively different concepts and techniques. The event aims to bring these communities together in an environment where these concepts and techniques can be disseminated and discussed. Bringing together young and senior students and researchers, we aim to create a timely and dynamic environment to new collaborations and lines of research.
The event brings 3 mini-courses on the border of the areas of statistical physics and condensed matter. The courses range from analytical methods and exact results in integrable systems to computational methods such as DMRG and Machine Learning applied to the most diverse models of condensed matter. In addition, the event also has a workshop on the border between these two areas. Topics covered are unconventional superconductivity, phase transitions, spin liquids, dynamics of closed quantum systems and dynamics of classical non-equilibrium systems, among others.
