Abstract

Herein, we used thymine (HThy) as a ligand to form two new ruthenium(ii) complexes with formula [Ru(PPh3)2(Thy)(bipy)]PF6 (1) and [Ru(Thy)(bipy)(dppb)]PF6 (2).
