Graduate at Physics from Universidade Estadual de Londrina (1985), masters at Physics from University of São Paulo (1988) and PhD. at Physics from University of São Paulo (1993).Has experience in Physics, focusing on Dielectric Materials and Dielectric Properties, acting on the
following subjects: crystal growth, laser- heated pedestal growth, processing of ceramic materials.
My research interests include synthesize of materials using solid state reaction, polymer precursors and self-propagating reaction (combustion) methods. Use of laser technology to prepare dense ceramic bodies.
Study of the densification process and determine the physico-chemical properties with emphasis on the impedance spectroscopy. The materials under investigation are ferroelectric, ionic conductors, mixed conductors, multifunctional, etc.
