Graduated in Mechanical Industrial Engineering from the Methodist University of Piracicaba (1985), Masters in Materials Science and Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (1988) and PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos (2001). She is currently a laboratory specialist at the University of São Paulo.
Has experience in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, with emphasis on non-metallic materials, working mainly on the following topics: chemical synthesis, thin films, oxide materials in general, pigments and nanostructured materials. Specialist in X-ray diffraction (XRD) characterization techniques and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES).
My research lines include growth and crystallization of thin films nanostructured oxides, deposition of thin films by physical method, thin film growth by chemical method, optical characterization of ceramic materials, structural characterization of ceramic materials and development of nanoparticles from ceramic systems by chemical synthesis.
