Busy scientists employ three criteria for deciding whether to invest their time in reading a paper or going to a talk—the information contained in the title, the name-recognition of the authors, and the quality of the abstract. Today, we’ll look at how to create effective titles, and well learn how to incorporate George Heilmeiers sage advice in a simple method to turn out excellent abstracts.
